Motown Memories

All Motown Memories shows are completely self contained, do not reference each other, are not date sensitive and may be played in any order. You may play shows multiple times a week or back to back with no issues.

Show #440 features twenty different Motown artists, all from the 1960s, with very little talk and was posted on 18 November. Five different shows featuring Christmas songs were posted on 21 November. There are no overlapping songs from the same artist, so the shows can be played back to back for up to a five hour Motown Christmas music block. These are the same five shows posted last year.

The next new show is Show #441 and it will feature Motown artists who were part of a group and then an individual performer and will be posted on 7 January. Show #442 will feature Motown artists who had a top 40 song after they left Motown and will be posted on 14 January. Show #443 will feature the first and last Motown Top 40 song for 8 artists and will be posted on 21 January. Show #444 will feature all songs which reached #4 on the US Pop charts and will be posted on 28 January. Show #445 will feature songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s and will be posted on 4 February. There will be NO new show on 11 February.

Show #446 will feature Motown groups with a member's name in their title and will be posted on 18 February. Show #447 will feature Motown songs the contain the word 'What' in the title of the song and will be posted on 25 February. Show #448 will feature one word Motown songs and will be posted on 4 March. There will be NO new show on 11 March. Show #449 will feature the first and last Motown Top 40 song for 8 artists and will be posted on 18 March. Show #450 will feature twenty different Motown artists from 1965-1969 with very little talk and will be posted on 25 March.

Show #451 will feature Motown artists who had a Top 40 hit after they left Motown and will be posted on 1 April. Show #452 will feature a low charting song from a Motown artist, followed by a #1 and will be posted on 8 April. There will be NO new show on 15 April. Show #453 will feature Motown artist triple plays and will be posted on 22 April. Show #454 will feature the top 18 songs as compiled by Timeout magazine and will be posted on 29 April.

There will be NO new show on 6 May. Show #455 will feature songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s and will be posted on 13 May. Show #456 will feature all number one songs from the 1970s & 1980s and will be posted on 20 May. Show #457 will feature the first and last Motown Top 40 song for 8 artists and will be posted on 27 May. There will be NO new show on 3 June. Show #458 will feature all songs on vinyl and will be posted on 10 June. Show #459 will feature all songs that contain the words 'can' or 'can't' in the title of the song and will be posted on 17 June. Show #460 will feature twenty different Motown artists from the 1960s with very little talk and will be posted on 24 June.  

Motown Memories will be on its annual vacation/holiday in July and August.

Motown Memories will return on 9 September for its 14th season! Show #461 will feature songs which contain the words 'wanna', 'gonna' or 'gotta' and will be posted on 9 September. Show #462 will feature solo Motown artists and will be posted on 16 September. Show #463 will feature songs which contain the word 'never' as well as songs which will feature the Motown back up female singing group The Andantes and will be posted on 23 September. Show #464 will feature songs from all artists who have been inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and will be posted on 30 September. Show #465 will feature songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s and will be posted on 7 October. There will be NO new show on 14 October.

Show #466 will feature the Women of Motown and will be posted on 21 October. Show #467 will feature the Men of Motown and will be posted on 28 October. Show #468 will feature six songs that just missed the top 40 and will be posted on 4 November. Show #469 will feature all songs that contains the word "in" and will be posted on 11 November. Show #470 will feature twenty different Motown artists from the 1960s with very little talk and will be posted on 18 November.

Between Thanksgiving (in US!) and Christmas, there will be five different shows featuring Christmas songs. There are no overlapping songs from the same artist, so the shows can be played back to back for up to a five hour Motown Christmas music block.

Show #473 will feature Motown artists who had a hit song after they left Motown and will be posted on 20 January. Show #474 will feature Motown artists' top hit and will be posted on 27 January. Show #475 will feature songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s and will be posted on 3 February. There will be NO new show on 10 February.

Show #476 will feature the same charting song from two Motown artists and will be posted on 17 February.
